Steven Sattler has been practicing for over 35 years and is passionate about the law and advocating for his clients. In dealing with diverse clients, he recognizes that clients want a lawyer they can count on to fight for them.
Steven Sattler spent 10 years working on the insurance defense side of personal injury and casualty cases at top firms in Michigan and the San Francisco Bay area. He was mentored by senior legal professionals and trusted by the partners to go to trial early in his career. This experience was invaluable in learning how the defense (now opposing counsel) thinks, operates, and fights. Unlike many of his peers, this provides the advantage of a broader and unique perspective on disputes.
In 1991, Steven Sattler chose to establish a private practice to leverage his experience to fight for the rights of those injured, wronged, or harmed. Rather than clients getting minimal attention by senior partners at larger firms, he is able to dedicate time and attention to clients. Clients get the benefit of his focus on details, tactics, developing strategy, and providing advice. He’s committed to getting justice and has deep empathy for his clients.
Steven Sattler’s diverse civil litigation experience includes personal injury, employment law, real estate and small business disputes.
In addition to his practice, Steven Sattler serves as a mediator for civil cases handling settlement conferences for the court in Marin County on a pro bono basis. He’s an active member of the Marin County community and has served as President of the Board of Integrated Community Services, an agency that helps train and place disabled individuals in employment.
